Bit of a Fail...

Well, where do I even begin...

Basically my entire blogging idea was a complete fail. 

I had all these amazing ideas for this blogspot and I was really planning on making something out of it, but obviously I got sidetracked doing mundane things and somehow forgot about the blogging world. I've decided that since it's a brand new year, I'm going to post at least three times a week and try do something with this (I've started multiple blogs during my lifetime, and have obviously kept up with none). So, I guess just ignore this post and use it as an announcement for some exciting things to come! I'll write up my first post and hopefully put it up tomorrow, pictures and all!

Christening the Blog!

Well, I guess I'm finally going to give this blogging thing a shot. I love with all things fashion and beauty and despite reading dozens of different blogs, I've never actually given writing my own a shot. So hopefully no one minds if I'm a bit scatter brained and my posts aren't so great- I promise i'll try my best to improve. So why not christen my blog with different facts about myself so you guys don't just know me as that one girl with a blog who rambles on and on... Right then! I'm just going to list off random stuff under categories (since I like everything to have a place, and be in its place). 

Facts about myself:

• I'm from a prairie province in central Canada, which means there isn't much here other than fields and animals (and yes- Saskatchewan is every bit as flat as they say it is). 
• I was born on the eleventh of January, 1994. I refuse to accept the fact that I am legally an adult and am turning nineteen in just over two months. It's not happening, nope. 
• I live with my parents, my sixteen year old brother, seven month old sister and our Boxer, Kasha. 
• I have a love for travelling and I have hopes of one day seeing more of the world. 
• I graduated high school when I was seventeen and have been putting off uni for the past year and  a half (trying to find myself and all that bullshit).
• I have a fascination with serial killers (fucked up and morbid I know- but I just want to know how their minds work!)
• I'm a confessed anglophile.
• I have three tattoos, although I may be getting two of them removed and getting them re done in a different place (love the tattoos- hate the placement).
• I have a fascination for the paranormal, and the unknown. Probably since I've had experiences as a young child
• I have a large collection of books and I hope to one day own enough to have my own library.  

Favorite Movies:

• Absolutely anything directed by John Hughes. Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Sixteen Candles are two of my favorites by him. 
• My Best Friend's Wedding- I have fond memories of laying in bed with my dad on weekends watching this movie over and over and over.
• The Wedding Planner- Let's just say I was a tad obsessed with any movie that was wedding related.
• The Paranormal Activity franchise- These movies are my guilty pleasures, I actually love them so much.
• Tangled- My younger cousin Anna is basically Rapunzel so how could I not absolutely love this movie; whenever I'm feeling sad and miss Annalise, I just put this movie on. 
• Inglorious Basterds- This movie is so perfect and badass, I can't even describe how much I love it.
• Every Harry Potter film- these films remind me of my childhood so much, and although they are different from the books, I will never not love them.
• Princess/Disney Movies- I know I already said Tangled, but I also love Anastasia (weirdly not a disney movie, considering I went seventeen years thinking it was one), The Aristocats, Cinderella, Snow White, The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast.
• The Perks of Being a Wallflower- I saw the movie with my best friends the day it was released at my movie theater and I absolutely loved it. Definitely worth the wait. 
• Love Actually- I don't care if this is a Christmas movie, I will watch it any time of the year and still love it so much.
• Pride and Prejudice (Keira Knightly version)- So fucking perfect and every one in this movie is attractive so yeah.
• 500 Days of Summer- Do I really need to tell you why I love this movie? (JGL)

So there it is, a very large and totally random list of books, movies, bands/artists and television shows. I'm probably forgetting a ton of stuff, but that's the gist of it. I think the plan is mostly just to make this blog a way to track my life, since there is going to be a lot of changes in my life during the next year and it will be a nice way to keep track of things. I'm thinking about doing some outfit posts, organizational posts, makeup and skin care reviews, maybe I'll even start doing book reviews on here!
